40lbs overweight in this pic!

Hi everybody!  I've been on this forum for a couple of weeks just following your conversations while waiting for my HCG.  Just got an e-mail today that it's out of stock - but I'm doing phase one of KT's book and hopefully will have my HCG by the time I'm ready to start phase 2.

I am 41 years old, divorced, mother of 3.  I'm a Nurse Practitioner, have worked nights for 10 years and just got a day position with banker's hours.  Gained a lot of weight over the past ten years and if any of you have ever worked nights you would understand why!

I'm 5'9" and weigh a whopping 197lbs (as of today). I'm lucky I'm tall because I can hide the weight well! I've lost 2.5lbs after 4 days of Phase 1.  I'm hoping to get down to 136 lbs which seemed to my weight setpoint before I started working nights.

My boyfriend of the past three years got me KT's book for my birthday - think he's trying to tell me something!?  Ha!  He actually got a copy for himself as well.  I'm the HCG guinea pig.  If it works for me he's going to give it a try.  He's my cheerleader right now. He has no willpower - he loves his junk food and Diet Pepsi.

You ladies have me chuckling about hiding the injections from your husbands.  My ex would have flipped if I spent this much money to lose weight when we were together.  But could you imagine the scene if your husband walked in while you were injecting?  They'd think you were shooting up Heroin or something!  Then try to get them to believe - "Oh no Honey, really, it's only HCG!"  Ha!

I Want My HCG!I think that should be our theme song.  Who started that with their stalking anyway? It's stuck in my head!

Hi Noelle,

I've been reading your posts, thank you for telling us a little more about yourself, and welcome to the forum:-)  Your goal weight is very close to mine, and maybe when you get your HCg your start weight will be very close, I was at 192 the day I started the injections, last Saturday.  I am done with my 2nd day of the VLCD, and ready to start a 3rd day.  Good luck, and we're here for ya!  Later, Toni

Kathy,

Thanks for sharing about yourself.  It is always great to hear about another fellow HCGer!  Brenda is right that I'm the original stalker.  My mailman still gives me funny looks sometimes.  He's pretty cute and has nice legs like a UPS man so he probably thinks I was interested in him, not my HCG!  I have kind of a reputation with mailman since my son was born.  He's really tall, unlike the rest of us in the family, and when people remark on how we could have such a tall son I say "well....the mailman was tall!" HELLO to all the stockers Grin Grin Grin
Happy Wednsday everyone!
Noelle WELCOME Smiley Cool Smiley
I am happy you joined this fun group, they are GREAT.
On hiding HCG from my hubby, he will kick Mr. HCG out, if he finds out. I will tell him about it, after I am done. He is already notice changes in my body. Well, he thinks I am just on diet, he calls my diets "starving mode". It does make me feel little  UH.... by not telling. It is almost like I am having affair with Mr.HCG and hiding him in referigerator when my husband is at home LOL.

Yes it's true Carla started stalking the mailman, how could I forget??? One thing is for sure, I'll never forget Brenda singing:

I want my HCG...I want my HCG...I want my HCG...I'll be banging on the mailman like a chimpanzeeee

and I continued hear Dire Straits in my head. In my post at the time, I changed it to "mailbox" in defence of the poor mailman. In Carla's case, I guess he's a lucky mailman!!!  Grin A few times I've gotten hysterical on this Forum---that was one of them. I'm LOL now!

I was laughing so hard from your posts that my husband asked me what was so funny?! Grin  I couldn't really tell him about the mailman, the stalking, the HCG, or the Billy Joel tune now could I? I just told him my friends on the forum have a great sense of humor!

By the way, I could not take my HCG on time today because my hubby was downstairs reading the paper (in full view of the room with the secret stash and the bathroom).  Luckily it looks like he's snagged a great job so he'll be outta here soon!!!

Keep me laughing ladies - there is no better place than this forum!

Noelle,
you crack me up. That is what I was thinking. I'm recently, real recently divorced and I had a good laugh from your post. I'm worried if my son catches me that he will think I'm doing drugs or something.
I can't imagine being married and hiding this from your spouce, not saying it's wrong, I probably would too. But, oh the added stress of hiding and sneaking.  I'm not a very good sneak, I look guilty act guilty when I sneak..

Thanks for the laugh, hang in there it will come, my deliver took 5 weeks from the time it was shipped.  Held up my Jan 1st diet plan.

Okay, now my kids think i'm nuts - sitting down in the basement laughing my butt off (if only it were that easy!) all by myself on the computer.
You guys are a very happy, entertaining bunch!
So, Toni, we're practically the same start weight and have the same goal weight - the competition is on!  Let's see who gets to their goal weight first!  I'll take before pics in a bathing suit - but won't post it until I look really hot in my after pics - because if I post the before pics alone people will notice every dimple of cellulite and be like "Oh my....look at her...eeeeeeuuuuuuuuwwww!"  But if you go and post the before with the after, everybody will be mezmerized by the after picture and be like " WOW she looks so hot!  Look how much weight she lost!" and they'll barely pay any mind to the before pics! hehehe
Thank you everyone for the big warm welcome!  Grin
Wednesday was a good day...Happy Thursday to you all!!!!

Noelle....You're on!!!!!!

I know that you have not started yet.  Are you going to do a 45 day round?  That's what I am doing.  We'll figure out how we will do this.  I am not telling what I have lost until I have been on the VLCD for one week, which should be my Tuesday morning weigh in. My daughter did take "before" pics of me the night before I started, but it was not in a swimsuit.  I wore a pair of black leggings, and a tight white tank top, and believe you me, they tell the tale!

The Game is On!!!!!!       Let the games begin!!!!!!

Oh, my first ticker, this is special:-)  Later, Toni

Good Noelle, I'm glad I'm not the only one who took before pictures, and they aren't pretty. Yeah, how come the only results with pictures in the forum is the one the moderator left to try to entice us?  I know there are people on phase three and four. So where is there pictures. How is the world to know.

Now I like your thinking, because when I'm hot in my bikini, which will be by summer, right ladies?   Then no one is going to notice the rolls I have hanging over the side in the before pitures.
Lol.  at least let's hope they look there for a second and at the after for a moment, since I'm so shy anyway.
Have a great day!
Kelly

PS- One advantage you do have is your tall, lucky girl. When your short EVERTHING seems to be lower to the ground. It actually makes you look fatter. So thank God for that, right Carla and all of us short ladies.

Yes, I'm a shortie and I always tell my taller friends that 1 lb. looks like 5 lbs. on us shorties.

I'm all for sharing "after" swimsuit photos.  I used to be a lifeguard and I looked great - now to just get back there.....
