KTs diet is much more strict (and expensive with all organic) and I like certain aspects of it, but if I were to folow Simeon's (with it not being organic) has anyone known or seen a great difference with following KT's and not Simeons?  Will I be disadvantaging myself and my success by simply following Simeon's? Please help, I dont want to do this wrong!

I do not follow the KT diet.  I have been very strict in following the original protocol and it has worked perfectly for me.  55 lbs the 1st round and 13 in 7 days so far on the 2nd round.

My advise is to experiment.  Try the original protocol - if it is not working for you after a couple of days (being very strict in following it) then start to add elements of the KT book.  I suspect though, that you will find the original to work just fine.

I found that the original Simeons plan works just fine. I do use organic whenever I can get it and don't stress too much when I can't. I also stevia instead of artificial sweeteners. The best thing about KT's book was the tea recommendations--tea really helps me and I am now a dedicated tea drinker except for an occaisional decaf latte at Starbucks!!!

I've done the diet both ways and lost weight each time.  The biggest key to me seems to be keeping my workouts steady througout the diet.  I walk at least an hour a day on the treadmill or just outside.

For me personally I found KT's protocol to work better however my body has a very high sensitivity to pesticides and they completely overload my liver and my entire body. It all depends on each individual person's body and how your body is able to process toxins because they overload our bodies and enable our metabloic process therefore we are not able to shed those unwanted pounds as easily. I live in a large city where going all organic is not that much more expensive than conventional these days and the taste is amazingly different so for me there is no question as to which one I was going to choose when I started. I just feel that it is a personal preference and maybe just adding some of the supplements that KT recommends in his book may help you a bit more if you choose to follow Dr.Simeons protocol. I hope this helps you out. I love this diet and it works for everyone if you follow all the recommendations and you will keep the weight off. To all your weight loss success.
