I lost 2 lbs after my 26th day.  I am now at the weight I want to maintain. During the last 2 weeks of phase 3, I followed the protocall with a couple of exceptions. I had a slice of bread on two occasions - gained a pound and used a steak day to loose it.

But, I have added wine to my diet while still averaging 1300 calories per day after the calories burned by running (I weight 110).

My question is this: Have I ruined Phase 3 by adding in my wine and keeping my caloric intake that low?  And, is it bad to do a steak day after only gaining a lb?  I am afraid to wait for 2!

Just to clarify, you're in your last week of phase 3, right?  If so, then you don't have to watch your calorie intake.  Simeons said in the original manuscript that minor indulgences of one type or another wouldn't cause problems.  But, when indulging in two types, such as having carbs and sugars, then problems on the scale would occur.

Based on that, I would say that having a slice of bread twice and a little wine shouldn't be hurting you.  And, if you want to do a steak day, you should just do it.  I've seen posts where people do one if they gain, even if it's not the 2lb gain that we are warned of.

Congrats on almost being to phase 4....FOREVER!!!!!!!!
